Love em I swapped out old goldtone door knobs for these door levers in oil-rubbed bronze and they look fabulous! Guests have commented that they never realized such a small upgrade could have such an upscale impact on the interior of my modest but well appointed townhome. October 26, 2010
Worth the effort This was part of a bathroom remodel and took a lot of effort. First, I had to look long and hard to find a door handle set that matched the decor. Fortunately, I found handlesets.com, and they had exactly what I was looking for. Second, when the handle set arrived, the cylinder and latch were larger than the hole in my door. This is because of the age of the house and door. After getting a wood rasp and working for a while, I was able to enlarge the holes so that I could mount the handle set. Finally, I also had to work on the mounting for the strike plate so that the door would fully close - again a difference between modern standards and standards when the house was built. It took a lot of effort, but it was worth it to me to get what I wanted. The handle set matches exactly and looks great. August 23, 2010

A. The Weslock 3710P has a handle which is about 4.5" long the overall height is 2.25", and The backing is 5" wide. Hope this helps.

Is this reversible to accommodate either left- or right-hand swing doors? there is no option for ordering left or right

A. The Weslock 3710P has reversible handing so you do not need to specify right or left.

How can you unlock privacy pasage set from the outside. There is a small hole in the rosette, but using a pin in there does not seem to work.

A. The Weslock 3710P will have a pin hole on the lever to allow for unlocking.

how far down do you have to turn the lever to open the door? some require a full half turn to 6 o'clock.

A. Thank you for your question. The Weslock 3710P needs to be turned to between 4 o' clock and 5 o'clock in order to open the door.
