I have accidently locked my bathroom door and can not get in. I see a hole on the circular cover plate. I have tried a screw driver, allan wrench without luck. How do I open this locked weslock privacy lock?

A. You should be able to insert something the size of a toothpick or bobby pin. There should be plate or button that pushes in. When you feel that resistence and push it in, the knob should unlock. For additional tech support you will need to call Weslock directly.

What is the diameter of the rose on the Weslock 610I?

A. The Weslock 610I has a 2.5 inch rosette in diameter.

photo shows square latch plate, and I presume square strike plate, I need to confirm that's the case. everything I can find in stores is rounded, which doesn't work on my doors nicely.

A. The Weslock 610I when you order you can specify to get this with round and square latches and you can choose which one you would like to use.
