Decent Consumer Reports Best Buy. I have 5 of these and have had issues with the keys in two of them. In one, after 5 months of normal use keys would begin to get stuck and were impossible to remove. I took it off and reinstalled it and worked fine. In the other you have to wiggle it a lot to get the key out of the lock. Def not as high quality as their deadbolts. May 8, 2008

what is meant by latch type?

A. The latch type refers to the inner part of the door (the part that is not seen from inside or outside), where the latch is set in. Some hollow doors use a drive in type latch, which means it does not have a plate with the screws to hold it in place. Most common doors use the round/square latch which is screwed in.
