The single cylinder entry function features a single cylinder deadbolt which requires a key to lock and unlock from the exterior and a thumb turn to lock and unlock from the interior. Weslock has recently updated their ordering process. You must select the exterior handle (such as this product) then the interior handle (kit/interior pack) which will be presented to you as you add this item to the cart. Interior Packs are required for installation.

Great product, fast delivery The set is gorgeous and looks great on my brand new, white front entry door. The installation was not difficult even though the installation guide was just so-so. I will highly recommend it. When I had duplicate keys made, neither HD nor Lowes could make them. That gives me a comfort feeling that it is a lock of high security. June 13, 2011

Excellent Product The Julienne Premiere door knobs were perfect and shipped very quickly after my order. I am replacing an old Weslock handleset that I measured at 5" center to center spacing on the bore holes. I get the same 5" when I measure at the latch plate between deadbolt and door latch. Did the standard spacing change over the last 13 years or am I missing something? Will this handleset fit or should I replace with a separate deadbolt/handle set such as the Baldwin 85315? Thanks, Richard Aycock

A. 5 1/2 inch centers are the industry standard now. The 6641 also has 5.5 inch centers, so if you measured 5 inches, then that is not going to work for you. The Baldwin minimum measurement is 4 3/8 inches, so anything greater than that (i.e. 5) will work.

can I use this set on a 2 1/4" thick door?

A. The Weslock 6641 Elegance Handleset can be used with a door thickness of 1-3/4" to 2".

what is the ANSI Grade on this lock?

I am wondering where the hole in the door is going to be located, I am trying to cover an existing hole above my orginal door knob. Will the hole be where the bolt is, or where the knob is, or both spots?

A. The Weslock 6641 requires 2 holes to be drilled. One for the lower latch on the handle & one for the deadbolt above it. Because this is a full plate the holes must be 5.5" apart center to center for proper installation.
